I was dreaming about this picture for years and years... (actually 8 years)
I was never able to do it...I always felt I lack of skill... which was true...
Than I bought a PC...but it was still a dream out of reach...
Nowdays I felt skillful enough and I totally surprized myself!
This is without doubt ( my personal opinion) THE best picture I have ever made!

This is a scene from my story "Path of Destiny" ...some of you might recognise the girl...even though she originally don`t have such long hair...And that scythe isn`t her weapon...it`s Shinten`s (from Beyond Reflections (also my story))...I belive most of you remember Shinten!
Anway...3 moons out of 4... Negados,Arcasfor and Escatlus (Zafros is missing) They have a meaning in the story...but I won`t bug you now with it...

Anway...this is a B-day pic for my super dear friend ...actually a late gift...her B-day was in June...
Since I`m SOOOOOOOO late with it...I drew her something very special...and hard...I hope you like dear!

I just can`t stop looking at it!!! I totally outdone myself... and look...no black lineart...something unusual from me XD
Sparkly again...I love sparkles... And, OMG, no feathers... I don`t know what is wrong with me...no feathers...
And...ONG!!! That is the coolest scythe design I ever drew!!! Colours don`t fit...but who cares!

Ok...now explanation why mixed media...
Well...it`s actually mix of few traditional medias,digital art and photo manipulation...
Since traditional work is like 70% of picture...I put it here... Only girl and the grass is digital...
Good enough for me to post here...

Hope you all like...I know I do...and I know I won`t move it from my desktop for LOOOOOOOOONG time...

Time taken...12-13 hours...(all that scanning,merging and stuff)
Layers used...well...don`t fall off the chair... 111...I could`ve done it with much less...but it`s the way I do...so you don`t have to complain about that!

Wow.....just wow. O,O I'm glad you finally did your "dream picture." You SHOULD be proud, it came out beautifully. The weapon kicks ass, I wish I could design weapons like that. ;_;
I instantly fell in love with the scenery. The grass, mountains, clouds, mountains=Droolworthy. The sparkles give this piece a dream-like quality. :) And I LOVE the moons.....or are they suns or planets? ^^;

I envy yuor talent. I may not comment a whole lot, and I feel really guilty about that, but I've always loved your stuff. Keep up with the good work! :)
