This is a very late B-day gift for
 Happy late B-day sugar! it's Shinten...she likes him... She's kinda bugging me for a long while to draw him smiling...But Shinten never smiles...it's not he can't...he just don't... So...sorry sweety for not drawing him smiling... Shinten turned out alot older and serious looking than I usually draw and imagine him...But he also look more bish like here... Ok...About the meaning in this pic... I had no idea what to put as the BG...so I decided to make the whole concept from one scene in the story ( "Beyond Reflections" (my original manga)) When Shinten fights Shinryu... the pic and the title are huge spoiler too... I just had no ideas... as you figured out the shadow figure is Shinryu...Shinten's oposite...Shinryu also have wings...but I erased them since they didn't look so well in this picture... the foggy energy around Shinryu is his dark miasma... is one of them is going to die tonight...which one...or none? you'll have to wait till I force myself to continue drawing the manga... Technical stuff... Shinten's hair took me forever to do...and I've put so many details in it and none can be seen in this small version... Cuz hair killed my senses I had no patience to shade the rest of the pic properly...sorry...the pic is kinda unfinished...there are alot more touches I could do...but I started to hate this pic... I hope you like... Coloured in Photoshop CS2 Time taken...around 15-20 hours... Layers used...44... EDIT! Made shadow Shinryu a bit lighter since it was stadning out too much... |
