Version 1. The point of the picture is to focus on the priestess, not the magical effects.

Personally, I prefer version 1. Because the contrast between the background and the priestess & magic is more evident... and I guess I just like that kind of thing more. Seems like the opinion is pretty split though, so I guess it's just up to opinion, really.

I don't know.. I like the lighter one but the magic seems excessive and takes away from the night elf. Yet the other one is so dark and heavy that it's just not eye pleasing (at least not to me)
